What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?

Single person so only needed a small car but wanted something with a bit of grunt on the open road. Previously had another small hatch which was brilliant around town but was a bit gutless. The Swift Sport has both bases covered .

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

Value for money performance wise , reputation for reliability , economical. Plenty of safety features although they can be a bit too alert. Adaptive cruise control good on long journeys.

What have you discovered since owning the car?

Not quite as economical as I hoped around town can get up to the high 7s of litres per kilometre. On a trip is below 6 litres per kilometre, Road noise is worse than average out of town with Continental sports 5 tyres. Acceleration from 70 to 100 kph is really good.

What do you like/dislike about the car?

Pretty average infotainment system. Sat nav adequate but it does have apple car play and android auto. Not much in the way of soft touch finish which many people complain about but doesn’t worry me. Does not have a digital speedo and the analogue one is hard to read

Any other comments on the car?

Often people don’t give these much credit because it’s a Swift but the sports model has real poke and also handles very well. Lots of standard features. Suspension is firm but not uncomfortable. Fuel tank is small and the car needs 95 fuel.
