Economical small car, needed to be a manual and have enough get up and go when you needed it. Car would be doing high mileage and handle being driven like it was stolen
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
It didn't. First thought was its a hair dressers car, however it ticked all the boxes, small, economical, manual etc. The sensible things.
What have you discovered since owning the car?
Love it! Travelled over 100,000km. The little 1600 has plenty of pep, handles like a go cart. I haven't been kind to this car, regular serviced, but is driven HARD! The car hasn't skipped a beat, its taken the abuse without skipping a beat
What do you like/dislike about the car?
Being a large dude, the recaro seats are a little snug. Other than this I can not complain. Its a car at the end of the day, i could be picky and complain about the plastics on the interior, the orange peel in the paint, but the reality this things don't matter. I love to drive and drive hard, so if the car can take the abuse and put a smile on my face, then its a winner

If i could accurately describe the abuse this car has been subjected to over the last 100,000km, you would understand why I rate it so Highly! Who flat foot shifts a Suzuki swift! I do, and it takes it again and again!

Love the car so much, that when I finally run it into the ground i will be buying another!
