What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?

Needed something that looked professional and clean whilst comfortable to carry around buyers and all the real estate directionals. It was good for carrying people in comfort and the boot has plenty of space.

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

Being a Subaru, I knew it would ride well, have good performance and lots of capability. What I like is all the modern tech such as push button start, keyless entry, electronic seats for both driver and passenger as well as dual climate and paddle shifts.

What have you discovered since owning the car?

Spark plugs and leads can cost a lot to get serviced. Having the fuel efficiency on the dash to measure km/L makes for an efficiency focused drive. Oddly, peak efficiency comes at an indicated 110km/hr, though actual speed using Google Maps indicates that this is actually 104 km/hr. There is no way you will get your hand in between the seat and the centre console, it really is the Bermuda triangle of car space.

What do you like/dislike about the car?

I like how comfortable the seats are. They have great bolstering and lots of seat adjustment including the ability to lift the front of the seat, great for anyone with tight hamstrings. I dislike the fact that it is permanently AWD. Although it is great for gravel, dirt and snow, it is not so good for fuel mileage around town. I dislike how the dash has more crackes than a drought ridden Northland field.

Any other comments on the car?

For the price I paid I get a lot of car. It is comfortable, sporty and has a ton of features I miss when I go to my older car. Something as simple as headlights that turn off when you turn the car off makes me wonder why other models adopted this much later than a car 15 years old. I'll forever be a fan of the mk 4 Legacy.

Lastly, would you buy this vehicle again?

Yes

Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?

Definitely would buy again, in fact this is my 2nd Legacy. For the cost of the car, I get a ton of features that normally would come with a car twice the price or half the age.
