- Nissan's Sentra Spec-V concept pairs a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine with a six-speed manual gearbox.
- The official build sheet lists approximately 224kW at the wheels, alongside extensive engine modifications.
- The concept borrows GT-R Nismo braking hardware and a rear spoiler, alongside a widebody exterior.
Nissan has brought the Sentra Spec-V name back with a six-speed manual, turbo power and a generous helping of GT-R hardware. The small sedan is a concept for the 2026 SEMA show, arriving 35 years after the Sentra SE-R reached North America.
The revival comes with a clear limit: Nissan says its SEMA concepts are not for sale. It has announced no production version of this Spec-V.
A manual with wheel power to match
The 2.0-litre MR20DD engine gets a Garrett G25-550 turbocharger and front-mounted intercooler, with Carrillo connecting rods and JE pistons among the internal changes. Nissan quotes approximately 224kW at the wheels for the turbocharged engine, which also gains supplemental port injection.

That figure describes wheel output, so it should not be read as an engine power rating. The transmission is a modified six-speed unit from the Juke Nismo RS, complete with a helical limited-slip differential. A lightweight flywheel, upgraded clutch and short-shifter assembly complete the manual drivetrain changes.
GT-R equipment, Sentra proportions
Nissan lists a GT-R Nismo rear spoiler and a brake conversion using six-piston Brembo front callipers with 390mm discs and four-piston rear callipers with 380mm discs.
Custom track-specification Nismo coilovers include front dampers with external reservoirs, revised damping and firmer springs. Nismo anti-roll bars accompany forged 19-inch LM-RS1 wheels wearing 265/35R19 Yokohama Advan Neova AD09 tyres.

A BOMEX widebody kit, vented bonnet with a functional intake inlet and side-exit exhaust make the exterior changes easy to spot. The build sheet also specifies a Nismo steering wheel and a custom harness bar inside the cabin.

The Sentra will join Nissan's display at SEMA in Las Vegas from 3–6 November.
