Audi's biggest SUV yet
At 5.31 metres long and 2.21 metres wide, the Q9 has a substantial road presence, while its 3.14-metre wheelbase is intended to free up generous cabin room.
Buyers can choose a conventional seven-seat layout or an optional six-seat configuration.
Those dimensions put the Q9's exterior at the heart of this reveal, following an earlier look inside the model. Audi is now presenting the complete vehicle, pairing its three-row packaging with the scale expected of a range-topping luxury SUV.
Comfort meets new lighting tech
The Q9's convenience features include automatic doors, while a 1.5-square-metre panoramic glass roof brings extra light into the cabin. The six-seat option offers an alternative for buyers who prioritise individual seating over maximum passenger capacity.
At the rear, Audi has fitted its third-generation digital OLED lighting technology. It also introduces a projected turn-signal feature, extending the Q9's signalling beyond the light units themselves.
The result is a flagship designed around space and comfort, but with enough technical detail to distinguish it from simply being a larger addition to Audi's SUV line-up.
