BMW New Zealand has secured four cars from the Nurburgring centenary range, one each of the M2, M3, M4 and M5. The first will cost $175,600, and BMW expects the cars to arrive between April and June 2027.
The German circuit opened in 1927, so BMW’s 100 Jahre Nurburgring edition arrives in time for its centenary. When BMW revealed the range in September, it had already confirmed a New Zealand allocation. The local announcement fills in the prices and identifies which cars will come here.
What each model costs
The M2 xDrive opens the range at $175,600. It produces 353kW and 600Nm, and BMW quotes a 0–100km/h time of 3.7 seconds.
The M3 Competition Sedan M xDrive costs $219,100, while the M4 Competition Coupé M xDrive comes in at $223,300. The coupé costs $4200 more than the sedan. Both produce 390kW and 650Nm, and BMW quotes the same 3.5-second sprint to 100km/h for each.

The M5 Sedan is the most expensive car in the allocation at $263,300. All four prices include GST and exclude on-road costs.
Which colours are coming here
BMW has split the local allocation between two colours. The M2 and M4 are coming in Nurburgring Green, while the M3 and M5 will both be finished in Black Sapphire metallic. The edition cars carry roof stripes and graphics tracing the Nordschleife. The circuit outline is stitched into the front headrests as well.
The M3, M4 and M5 are scheduled to be built in January 2027. Production of the local M2 is scheduled for March.
