Did you buy this car new or used?

New

How much did you pay? (including all on-road costs)

58500

What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?

I wanted a PHEV SUV of medium size that didn't pollute the atmosphere on around town trips and saved on petrol costs. The Eclipse has fulfilled these needs perfectly.

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

I chose Mitsubishi because of the company's experience with plug in hybrids. The VRX had nearly all the features that I wanted and in white diamond, looked quite nice.

What have you discovered since owning the car?

It has been better than expected and fun to drive. Petrol savings have been better than expected and the all electric range is close to the claimed at average 50km. I keep a spread sheet and the current petrol use is 1.73l/100km

What do you like/dislike about the car?

Like: Quiet, comfortable, no emissions almost all the time around town, powerful enough, roomy enough. Has all the safety assists and 5 stars. Dislike: Surround cameras don't give sharp enough image and hard to see when the sun shines on the screen. Climate Control switched low down and difficult to read at times.

Any other comments on the car?

No, other than we are very happy with it. Even my wife loves driving it and we compete over how many leaves we get on the economy indicator.

Lastly, would you buy this vehicle again?

Yes

Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?

I would buy it again because I rate the car highly and my wife likes it. I would not buy it again only if we found a similar vehicle that was better overall, or if we decided on a pure electric vehicle (BEV).
