My needs revolved around finding a luxurious family vehicle that would elevate our travel experiences, and as a family we love driving around NZ and a comfortable driving experience is something always been a need with two young kids.
The new Range Rover has truly fulfilled the needs and surpassed my expectations. Its spacious interior accommodates my family comfortably, with plush seating and ample legroom. The entertainment system keeps everyone (specially the kids) entertained during long drives, while the advanced safety features provided a peace of mind having two young kids.
The Range Rover's exceptional off-road capabilities were great, and its refined aesthetics and technology made every drive a delight. Without a doubt, this car has proven to be the epitome of luxury and a perfect fit for our family's needs.
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
From the moment I collected it, I was amazed by its elegance and commanding presence. Its sleek and aerodynamic design exuded a sense of power and sophistication.
The interior boasted premium materials and exquisite attention to detail, instantly conveying luxury at its finest. The colour I choose was bit concerned with kids, however got the duraseal coating done just to be safe if the kids spill any liquid. The advanced technology and intuitive infotainment system impressed me, seamlessly integrating convenience and connectivity. The impressive performance capabilities, whether on city or rugged terrains, enticed me with its dynamic driving experience, it is super smooth (i don't see much difference driving in the city street or terrains with amount of pothole all over the street nowadays). Owned a few luxury vehicles prior to this, and the new Range Rover is a different beast.
Its reputation for reliability was an always a concern after hearing negative feedback and comments online, however after owning it for past 11+ months the reliability is exceptions and durability further appealed to me, assuring long-lasting enjoyment.
Ultimately, the new Range Rover offered an irresistible combination of style, comfort, and performance that I simply couldn't resist.
What have you discovered since owning the car?
First, the level of comfort it provides is unparalleled. The plush leather seats, adjustable to my liking, ensure a cozy and supportive ride even during long drives. The noise cancellation is exceptional, blocking out external noise and creating a serene atmosphere just awesome, however at sometimes I had noticed during high winds the noise from the two side mirrors were bit annoying, apart from that its very quiet for a diesel engine.
The technological advancements within the Range Rover have truly amazed me. The intuitive infotainment system, with its touchscreen and seamless integration of my apple and the android mobile connectivity, has made my daily commutes and road trips more enjoyable. The crisp and immersive sound from the audio system further enhances the overall experience. Being a heavy metal fan, I have my own time in the vehicle to enjoy the music away from my misses' ears. even after increasing the volume 50%, she can't hear a thing from outside. Me and the Range Rover have truly bonded :)
One of the standouts features I've discovered is the off-road capabilities. The height-adjustable air suspension provides additional ground clearance, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride over uneven surfaces. it was a fun driving on 90-mile beach few weeks back.
Safety has been a top priority for me with two young kids, and the Range Rover does not disappoint in this regard. The comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist, has significantly enhanced my confidence on the road. The 360-degree surround-view camera system provides excellent visibility, making parking so easy in the city.
Something I always disliked was driving at the night and the visibility, with the LED lights driving at nights are much comfortable now.
Lastly, the exceptional performance, powerful engine has brought a newfound excitement to my driving experience. The seamless acceleration and responsive handling make each journey a joyous occasion.
What do you like/dislike about the car?
The luxurious interior is a standout feature for sure. The high-quality materials, comfortable seating, and attention to detail create a truly opulent and refined driving experience. another is the elegant and timeless design is eye-catching and exudes a sense of prestige and sophistication also to mention the advanced technology integrated into it, such as the intuitive infotainment system and driver-assistance features, enhances convenience, safety, connectivity and etc.
not many to list however, to me personally the two-side mirrors the noise it generates is something annoying.
Any other comments on the car?
What I have experience is owning a RR comes with a sense of exclusivity and prestige. The team at the dealership offer an exceptional customer service and they treat me as I'm part of the Range Rover brand, that feels unique sense of pride and distinction.

Considering my preference for a more eco-conscious and spacious vehicle, next would be a Range Rover 7-seater plugin hybrid or a fully electric option.
