There's a new speed demon in town, and he's only five years old.

Zayn Sofuoglu, the Turkish toddler who went viral for doing doughnuts in a Ferrari at the tender age of three, has once again defied expectations by hitting a staggering 312km/h in a Lamborghini Revuelto.

A need for speed

Zayn's father, Kenan Sofuoglu, a five-time world champion motorcycle racer, seems to have passed on his passion for motorsport to his son. The young speedster has already tasted success in go-karting and motorcycle racing and apparently can also handle himself on the ski slopes.

Record-breaking run

Zayn's latest feat saw him take the wheel of a Lamborghini Revuelto, a plug-in hybrid supercar that boasts a top speed of 350km/h.

With some modifications to accommodate his small stature, including a baby seat and extended pedals, Zayn hit the runway with his proud father in the passenger seat. The five-year-old then pushed the Lamborghini to an astonishing 312km/h, a speed that most adult drivers will only dream of reaching.

To celebrate his record-breaking run, Zayn treated the Revuelto to a series of impressive and familiar doughnuts, showcasing his nascent car control skills and letting the glorious 6.5-litre V12 engine roar.

A future champion?

While it's too early to say whether Zayn will follow in his father's footsteps and pursue a career in motorsport, one thing is certain: this young prodigy has a natural talent and a love for speed that is sure to take him far.

Whether it's on two wheels or four, Zayn Sofuoglu is a name to watch out for in motorsport.
