Toyota has enhanced styling options of the C-HR compact SUV with a two-tone paint scheme on a new Limited model.

The two-tone paint option features a black roof, rear spoiler, A-pillars and exterior mirrors and is available with five of the eight standard C-HR body colours. The five choices are black with Crystal Pearl, Shadow Platinum, Ruby, Sun Fusion or the newly added Nebula Blue.

The Limited variant, available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive, doubles the number of C-HR variants.

Toyota’s New Global Architecture chassis has allowed Toyota’s designers more styling freedom, leading to visually distinctive designs like the C-HR said Toyota NZ's GM of Product and New Vehicle Sales, Neeraj Lala.

“Fashion is all about choice, colours, and attracting more customers with different personalities” said Lala. “The C-HR is a funky fashion accessory to personalise to your own taste and personality.”

“Personalisation is a heritage of iconic Japanese cars, and C-HR is following in that tradition. The two-tone colours, combined with the sweeping lines of the C-HR provides customers with a real statement on the road.”

Apart from the optional two-tone paint, the C-HR Limited has a leather accented interior, heated front seats, powered lumbar adjustment of the driver’s seat, smart key entry and push button start and interior illumination.

The C-HR Limited is powered by a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine with a CVT transmission. All C-HR variants come with 18-inch alloy wheels, dual zone climate air conditioning, rain sensing wipers, blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, satellite navigation with SUNA* traffic channel, front and rear parking sensors and seven airbags as part of the comprehensive specification.

The Toyota Safety Sense package includes a Pre-Crash Safety system with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Automatic High Beam, Lane Departure Alert, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. It’s available in eight colours, five of which have a two tone option. The Toyota Drive-away pricing includes WOF, registration, a full tank of fuel, the Toyota Care Service Advantage package, floor mats, and the three years or 100,000 kms warranty.

The C-HR range is priced from$32,990, while Limited models are prices from 35,490 (FWD) and 36,990 (AWD). The two-tone paint option on Limited adds $400 to RRP.
