New Zealand’s only dedicated electro-mobility showcase goes live at The Trusts Arena from May 6-8. It’s a major expo covering electric vehicles (EVs), charging infrastructure, e-bikes, e-scooters and everything e-related.
It’s a major event for the business community, with trade days and an industry conference, but Saturday May 8 (9am-5pm) is really geared up to inform and entertain the public. It’s not just about show either: there will be opportunities to go out and try an e-bike or e-scooter if you’re thinking about becoming more e-mobile in your everyday life.
Visitors can also tap the brains of EV experts, with seminars on how to buy your first EV, mythbusting, tips on charging your EV at home and more.
It’s also the place to check the latest cars from companies like Audi, Ford, Auckland City Electric Vehicles, and Hyundai which will have a pre-production Ioniq 5 on display. Kiwi motorsport star Hayden Paddon will also on on-site with his purpose-built Hyundai Kona EV rally car.
It’s free to attend, although eworld recommends preregistration for seminars.
