Techart joins Porsche in celebrating the 911 Turbo's 50th anniversary.

In celebration of the Porsche 911 Turbo’s 50th anniversary, renowned German tuner Techart has unveiled the Monochrome, a limited-edition high-performance package.

This exclusive build pushes the boundaries of the already extreme 911 Turbo S, blending an array of power, aerodynamic and aesthetic upgrades. With only 20 units planned, the Monochrome is set to captivate collectors and Porsche enthusiasts alike.

A unique take on the 911 Turbo legacy

Based on Techart’s GT Street R, a heavily modified Porsche 911 Turbo S, the Monochrome steps things up with refined visual and performance enhancements.

While the GT Street R was already limited to 87 units, this new iteration adds even more exclusivity. Though named 'Monochrome', buyers can personalise the colour scheme, with the darker options creating a particularly dramatic look.

Among the exterior highlights are Techart’s crest proudly displayed on the bonnet and striking 22-inch Formula VIII Forged wheels, not just for show but engineered for cooling the car’s high-performance braking system.

The carbon fibre aero kit, shared with the GT Street R, includes wide fender extensions, aggressive bumpers and GT3 RS-inspired vents, all contributing to an imposing stance.

The rear spoiler options range from a subtle ducktail to a bold wing that’s more than just cosmetic - it’s functionally designed to enhance downforce.

Aero and performance enhancements

Speaking of aerodynamics, the Monochrome doesn’t just look fast - it’s engineered for speed.

Techart reports that the aero kit boosts downforce by four times compared to a standard 911 Turbo, reducing front axle lift by 45% at speeds of 140km/h. This aerodynamic mastery enhances high-speed stability, making the Monochrome both a track-ready weapon and a confident road machine.

Under the bonnet, the Monochrome houses a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, now supercharged to deliver 596kW and a brutal 950Nm of torque. This substantial increase - around 120kW more than the stock Porsche 911 Turbo S - enables the car to hit a top speed of 350km/h.

Although suspension upgrades haven’t been confirmed, it’s expected that owners will have the choice between lowering springs and adjustable coilovers for tailored handling.

Luxurious and customisable interior

Inside the Monochrome, Techart has left no stone unturned. A combination of premium leather, Alcantara and heritage fabrics lines the cabin, while carbon fibre accents emphasise the vehicle’s racing DNA.

The pedals, footrest and side sills are fitted with black aluminium, giving the interior a sleek, industrial vibe. The Monochrome and Techart logos are scattered throughout the space, reminding you of its exclusivity.

True to form, Techart offers buyers the option to customise the interior to their exact specifications, making each Monochrome as unique as its owner.

Pricing and availability
