Rolls-Royce has expanded its exclusive Black Badge range with the introduction of the Spectre Black Badge, its most powerful model to date.
The high-performance electric coupe delivers up to 485kW and 1075Nm of torque, eclipsing the standard Spectre’s output. This also marks the first fully electric Black Badge model.
The Spectre Black Badge features an upgraded dual-motor all-wheel-drive system.
While Rolls-Royce has remained vague on specifics, the car incorporates two distinct driving modes: Infinity Mode, which unlocks the full 485kW for a sharper throttle response, and Spirited Mode, a launch-control-style setting that temporarily boosts torque to 1075 Nm. This allows the Spectre to sprint from 0 to 96 km/h in 4.1 seconds, shaving 0.3 seconds off the standard model's time.
Although not officially confirmed, the powertrain is expected to retain the standard Spectre’s 102kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a range of approximately 446km.
To complement its increased performance, Rolls-Royce engineers have recalibrated the steering for a weightier feel and upgraded the dampers to reduce body roll.
Despite these changes, the brand insists the Spectre Black Badge retains its signature ride quality, ensuring effortless cruising.
Aesthetically, the Spectre Black Badge adopts a darker, more aggressive presence. It rides on 23-inch forged aluminium wheels with either a two-tone or full-black finish.
Traditional brightwork, including the Spirit of Ecstasy, grille surround, window trim and door handles, now features a darkened look.
Inside, the cabin offers exclusive Black Badge touches such as illuminated treadplates, infinity logos and Technical Fibre trim.
New instrument dial colours include Cyan Fire, Neon Nights, Synth Wave, Vivid Grellow and Ultraviolet, while the debut model showcases an illuminated fascia.
Customers can also select from new paint finishes, including Vapour Violet and an Iced Black bonnet.
With more power, refined handling and exclusive design elements, the Spectre Black Badge is the ultimate statement of Rolls-Royce luxury and performance.
