Porsche has increased its stake in Manthey to 67%, with plans to work more closely on limited-run special models, performance kits and exclusive track experiences.
Announced on 8 October, the move puts the racing and engineering specialist at the centre of Porsche's plans for its high-performance business.
Kits and anniversary models
The partnership already reaches owners through Manthey Kits. Since 2020, Porsche and Manthey have jointly developed nine kits across the 911 and 718 ranges, with the latest covering the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package. That gives the collaboration a role across Porsche's sports cars and its electric performance saloon.

The next joint products are due a preview on Friday 9 October, when two special models celebrating Manthey's anniversary are scheduled to appear at the DTM event at Hockenheim. Porsche has not disclosed their specifications. The announcement also gives no transaction price for the increased stake.
Road and race projects
Manthey brings 30 years of GT racing expertise to the relationship. Its results include seven overall victories in the Nürburgring 24 Hours and six class wins at Le Mans, alongside titles in the World Endurance Championship and DTM. Performance kits and track experiences are among the ways Porsche intends to develop that partnership further for customers.

The enlarged Manthey stake sits within Porsche's Home of Sports Cars programme, which groups its specialist activities under Performance, Exclusiveness and Heritage. Manthey is part of Performance, while Sonderwunsch and Exclusive Manufaktur sit within Exclusiveness.
The preview coincides with Manthey's DTM title fight. Thomas Preining enters the finale with a 23-point lead, while Manthey leads the teams' standings by 20 points as it chases a third championship win in four years.
