New Zealanders who wish to have the most awesome rear wheels you've ever seen fitted to their expensive Porsche sports cars should rejoice: Manthey Performance Kits are now available here, available at all four authorised Porsche NZ dealerships.
Manthey-Racing GmbH is a German company that has earned international attention in the world of motorsport. The team runs GT works competition cars for Porsche Motorsport, and has partnered with Porsche to develop the line of accessories.
The Performance Kits are now available to order from the Porsche Tequipment accessories division on the 911 GT2 RS (991.2), 911 GT3 RS (991.2), 911 GT3 (992) and 718 GT4 RS (982) models.
Once fitted by an authorised Porsche dealer, the parts still qualify for the factory warranty.
Manthey kits are developed in collaboration with the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach, and tested on racetracks including the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Individual components are matched, so have to be installed together on the vehicle. Porsche Manthey Performance Parts can be purchased and installed exclusively via Manthey Certified Porsche Centres, which all four dealerships in New Zealand have recently achieved.

This means our Centre staff are skilled to install this specialised equipment in the precise way that Manthey-Racing intended when designing it."
Centres are not only qualified to install Manthey Performance Kits, but they can also perform complete Motorsport quality suspension setup and alignment based on Manthey settings.
In addition to the full Performance Kits, some parts can be purchased individually. These include street/track brake pads, stainless brake lines, adjustable suspension, wheels, tow hooks and decals.
The first local install on a 991 GT2 RS was led by a Manthey Training technician who travelled from Germany to certify NZ technicians.
