Following hot on the heel's of billion dollar box office smash, Fast & Furious 7, Vin Diesel and director F. Gary Grey have announced two new additions to the growing #FastFamily including Academy Award Winner Charlize Theron and rising Hollywood action star Scott Eastwood.
While both of their characters are remaining a mystery for now, it is confirmed that Theron will be portraying the lead villainous who will throw plenty of hazards at Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), while Eastwood will be portraying an espionage agent working under Kurt Russell's Mr. Nobody.
Both announcements were made via the film's official Instagram account.
Fans will be pleased with Theron's casting as she's an extraordinary theatrical talent, and also know's her way round the wheel thanks to her turn as Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road. While Eastwood, who in addition to being a rising action star in the likes of Suicide Squad, and Overdrive, was also a personal friend of series star Paul Walker, and is looking forward to working alongside his acting hero Kurt Russell.
Fast 8 will be released in 2017.
