Live from the heart of Singapore ahead of the Grand Prix, NZ-based motorsport TV commentator and journalist Greg Rust sat down talented New Zealander and rising star, Liam Lawson.

Thrust into the limelight as Daniel Ricciardo's replacement at Scuderia AlphaTauri, Liam has not just filled the shoes of his fellow compatriot, but he's been making a very big mark with every drive - this now his third F1 race following his substitution for the Dutch and Italian Grands Prix.

Could this finally open the door to a full-time seat in Formula 1? Rusty sits down with Liam to discuss his incredible journey so far and what the future may hold, and for a permanent seat on the F1 grid in 2024.

Liam talks about his F1 debut at Zandvoort, when Ricciardo was injured and he had to step in, his current teammate Yuki Tsunoda their time in the F3 and Toyota Racing Series and learning from him. He talks about this weekend's race, his race preparation for the heat and humidity.
