Lamborghini’s latest limited edition is a yellow pram, with just 500 examples planned worldwide and a UK accessory bundle priced at £2995 (around NZ$6800).
The Reef AL Giallo is the second generation of the Italian car maker’s collaboration with pram manufacturer Silver Cross. It follows the orange Reef AL Arancio, bringing a yellow finish to the partnership’s existing pram concept.
Silver Cross has opened UK pre-orders for the Giallo bundle, with the product page indicating delivery in early September. That timing applies to the UK offer; New Zealand pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed.
Supercar shapes, smaller scale
The Lamborghini influence runs through the angular frame and Y-pattern upholstery, echoing shapes used in the brand’s vehicle interiors. Materials include suede, leather and high-gloss polycarbonate, while the yellow finish makes the connection rather hard to miss.
The 500-unit limit applies specifically to the Giallo edition. This is a new version of an existing collaboration, rather than Lamborghini’s first venture into pushchairs.
What the bundle includes
The UK price covers Silver Cross’s Travel System Accessory Bundle, including a carrycot, pushchair seat and chassis, plus accessories such as a footmuff, rain covers and car-seat adaptors. A car seat itself is not listed as part of that bundle.
There are practical details beneath the branding. Silver Cross lists suitability from birth to 22kg, a reversible seat and a folding design. The basket is rated to carry 5kg.
Large wheels and exposed spring suspension form part of the chassis, alongside a brake pedal operated by stepping on and off it. A cup holder, sun sail and mosquito net are also included in the UK accessory bundle.
