- Project Endgame is inspired by Iron Man and produces 626kW from a twin-turbo flat-six.
- First Gunther Werks Speedster to feature an air-cooled setup.
- One-off model with carbon body, manual gearbox and bespoke detailing.
Gunther Werks has signed off its Speedster programme with a one-off that doesn’t do subtle. Called Project Endgame, it’s the last of the line, and arguably the wildest yet.
At its core is a familiar recipe: a heavily reworked Porsche 911 platform, extreme attention to detail and a willingness to go far beyond factory limits. But this final build adds a twist that sets it apart from every Speedster that came before.
Air-cooled, and then some

Under the rear deck sits a 4.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six developed by Rothsport Racing, delivering a hefty 626kW and 895Nm.
That alone would be headline material, but here it’s paired with an air-cooled setup, a first for a Gunther Werks Speedster.

A flat-fan system handles cylinder cooling, while air-to-water intercoolers are wrapped in 24-karat gold, because at this level, restraint isn’t really part of the brief.
Drive goes to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual, keeping the experience firmly analogue despite the extreme outputs.
Carbon everywhere, wing included

Visually, Project Endgame leans harder into aggression than previous Speedsters.
The carbon fibre bodywork draws heavily from the Gunther Werks Turbo, ditching the traditional ducktail in favour of a large fixed rear wing.

Reworked front and rear bumpers, larger air intakes and a prominent diffuser add to the more purposeful stance.
Despite the extra hardware, weight sits at just over 1179kg, keeping the performance-to-mass ratio firmly in supercar territory.
Iron Man's Porsche

Then there’s the theme.
Finished in a deep candy red with gold accents across mirrors, headlights and badging, the car leans unapologetically into its Iron Man inspiration.

Inside, the concept continues. A bespoke gear shifter features 24-karat gold and a set of coloured stones representing each of the six gears in an an unmistakable nod to the Infinity Stones.
Carbon-backed seats, matching red and black leather, and further gold detailing round out a cabin that feels more like a showpiece than a place to quietly go about your driving.
No holding back

Gunther Werks hasn’t tried to tone things down for its final Speedster.
If anything, Project Endgame doubles down on everything the brand stands for: power, craftsmanship and a willingness to push well past conventional limits.
It’s excessive, yes, but that’s exactly the point.
