Brembo brakes and suspension tweaks headline features of Paddon-edition Santa Fe
Hyundai New Zealand have confirmed details of their Hayden Paddon edition Santa Fe model, based on the brand's CRDI Elite 7S.
Shortened to being labelled the 'HP Edition', Hyundai say that the limited-edition SUV will feature factory-fitted Brembo brakes behind its 19" OZ Racing wheels, which in turn are wrapped in Michelin tyres. The Santa Fe also boasts sport-tuned suspension, a body kit, tinted windows, orange interior stitching, and lashings of 'HP' decoration both inside and out.
In addition, each buyer receives a pair of signed Hyundai WRC jackets, a 'rally experience' with Paddon and his recently completed New Zealand Rally Championship i20, and the chance to win a VIP trip for two to Rally Australia 2016 as part of Paddon's Hyundai Motorsport squad.
Produced to a limited run of 50 vehicles, the HP Santa Fe will be priced at $79,990 RRP.

“Knowing how deep the passion for our SUVs runs with Kiwi motorists, it seemed appropriate to mark the occasion with a Special Edition version. Then when the i20 AP4 project came together and Hayden won Otago by such a huge margin, it made the Santa Fe even more significant,” says Hyundai New Zealand General Manager Andy Sinclair.
“The new Santa Fe is an awesome SUV that really suits the Kiwi way of life and this Special Edition version is very cool. Hyundai has been incredibly supportive of us over the past few championship seasons,” said Paddon himself.
The HP Edition Santa Fe will be offered through Hyundai New Zealand's national network of dealers.
