UK-based firm Everrati has unveiled its latest project, a fully electric Porsche 911 based on the 964 generation, menacingly dubbed The Viper Commission.

Stripped, re-bodied in carbon fibre and re-powered, this bold reimagining swaps the classic air-cooled flat-six for a 62kWh battery and electric motor setup.

Despite the added mass from the battery system, Everrati claims sub-4.0-second acceleration to 96km/h, a feat that puts it in line with many modern performance cars. Range is quoted at up to 320km per charge, though real-world figures will vary depending on use.

Carbon bodywork with styling tweaks

Visually, the car keeps close ties to its roots but with sharp modern touches.

A wide-arched carbon fibre body replaces the original steel panels, helping offset some of the battery’s weight penalty. Finished in Viper Green and riding on Fuchs-style black wheels with polished lips, the exterior also features a ducktail spoiler and revised headlights - familiar yet fresh.

“The owner has a profound commitment to combating climate change,” said Everrati, framing the project as more than just a performance upgrade.

Interior update with nods to the past

Inside, the cabin blends classic craftsmanship with subtle modern cues. Black leather dominates, accented by grey striping and a green marker on the steering wheel’s 12 o’clock position. The build is clearly aimed at enthusiasts who appreciate Porsche heritage but want to align their driving habits with contemporary values.

An electrified future for classics?

Purists may scoff, but Everrati’s electric 911 challenges what it means to preserve automotive icons. The blend of classic car appeal and modern performance offers an alternative future for collectors unwilling to compromise on either style or sustainability.
