Skoda has unveiled the refreshed 2025 Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe, bringing updated styling, improved aerodynamics, enhanced equipment and longer driving ranges to its all-electric SUV lineup.
Bold new look inspired by Elroq
The Enyaq's front clip has undergone a significant transformation, featuring a refined illuminated grille and sharply styled split LED Matrix headlights.
The design draws clear inspiration from Skoda's upcoming Elroq, giving the SUV a more modern and confident appearance.
The redesigned bumper intakes refine the model's appearance further as the side and rear profiles remain largely unchanged.
Skoda's updated Enyaq models benefit from refined aerodynamics, resulting in improved efficiency. The standard Enyaq achieves a drag coefficient of 0.245 cd, a notable improvement from its previous 0.264 cd.
Meanwhile, the Enyaq Coupe excels further with a reduced drag coefficient of 0.229 cd, setting a new benchmark within Skoda's lineup for aerodynamic performance.
Tech upgrades inside
Skoda has elevated the Enyaq's cabin experience with upgraded technology and sustainability features.
Standard equipment now includes a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, tri-zone climate control, heated seats and steering wheel, and wireless phone charging with cooling functionality.
Skoda has also enhanced the Enyaq's suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), offering improved safety and convenience.
Predictive adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring now come as standard features, while remote park assist remains an optional upgrade for added parking ease. The interior features an increased use of eco-friendly materials, highlighting Skoda's pledge to sustainability.
Improved range and performance
Skoda continues to offer the Enyaq with 59kWh and 77kWh battery options, but improvements in aerodynamic efficiency have resulted in extended driving ranges.
The standard Enyaq now achieves a drag coefficient of 0.245 cd, down from 0.264 cd, while the Enyaq Coupe sees an even more significant improvement, dropping from 0.240 cd to 0.229 cd, marking the best aerodynamic performance in Skoda's lineup.
Depending on the variant, WLTP figures range between 431 to 587km, a step up from the pre-facelift range of 340 to 565km.
At the entry level, the Enyaq 60 comes with rear-wheel drive and produces 150kW.
The mid-range Enyaq 85 and all-wheel-drive Enyaq 85x both generate 210kW.
A flagship Enyaq vRS variant is expected to follow, which could equip a dual-motor setup producing 250kW.
For those seeking sportier aesthetics, the Sportline trim debuts with a sportier body kit, larger wheels and performance-focused suspension.
Pricing and availability
The refreshed Enyaq promises improved efficiency, sharper design and enhanced technology, ensuring Skoda's electric flagship remains competitive in the fast-evolving EV market.
Skoda will begin accepting orders for the facelifted Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe in select European markets from January 9, with prices starting at around €44,000 (around NZ$81,000).
While no local launch details have been announced yet, the updated models are expected to arrive in global markets later in 2025. In the meantime, the current Skoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe remain available in New Zealand, starting at $67,990 for the standard version's Sportline trim.
