AWD for accessing ski fields and for towing, strong torque combined with low fuel consumption. Practicability of SUV layout. The vehicle has for fulfilled these needs.

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

Strong driver appeal and performance that raised the bar in its category and price range. The SUV layout is very practical

What have you discovered since owning the car?

The new diesel engine has had some issues - fortunately all remedied by Mazda NZ. Replacement tyres are fairly costly.

What do you like/dislike about the car?

Driver appeal (including handling) combined with good fuel economy and the strong torque for towing. The diesel particulate filter/ regeneration process could become an issue when used for short runs only, however it has not been a problem.
