Wanted a modern car with all the safety features, fuel efficient and low maintenance costs with low depreciation value based on wanting to travel between 10,000-15,000 kms a year and the cost to operate not restricting wanting to travel and get to places
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
Well equipped, versatile how you can adjust seats for loading, extremely fuel efficient average 3.9-4.1litres per 100kms, hybrid battery boost at from start makes it fast enough, great all round visibility, apple car play, great parking sensors and reversing camera with service plan included up to 75,000kms, great for parking in smaller spaces and reduces effort to operate
What have you discovered since owning the car?
It's delivered on all points, great all round car, and one set of tyres got me to 60,000kms, also great space for back seat passengers for long distance driving, so long term great value for money, also great visibility auto lights and auto dimming features including spot lights, and so easy to wash and clean, cruise control also works great for long distance driving including adjusting speed to cars ahead, due to it being hybrid it's got regenerative brakes so you don't have to use the brakes as much compared to normal cars which also reduces your maintenance costs
What do you like/dislike about the car?
3 things would have made it an amazing car, rain sensor wipers, phone pad charging and blind spot monitoring although not really needed due to great around visibility
Any other comments on the car?
Would have enjoyed more the Honda Jazz Crosstar but that is not offered as hybrid in NZ which is a shame as that car would be more versatile while remaining fuel efficient, to think with the 75,000kms service plan other than a set of tyres and wiper blades the car has not cost anything extra till the 90,000km service

It ticks so many boxes over all its rivals including Toyota for like models and gives you a brand that you trust for reliability technology resale value and long term ongoing value with no surprises.
