General a to b car with the occasional 400km trip to visit family. Otherwise just a run around vehicle. I'm a single adult so didn't need anything big or powerful
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
Appreciated how modern it was, cruise control etc. Seemed quite fuel efficient. Nice interior with leather seats, good speaker system
What have you discovered since owning the car?
Cruze's are terrible vehicles. The transmission required full replacement after the car ticked over 100,000km, its a known issue that the transmissions are faulty. I paid for a replacement transmission thinking the rest of the vehicle was in good condition. A year later the cooling system completely failed without warning and the engine seized requiring a full engine and cooling system replacement. The cost would have been another $10k so I sold the car to a scrapper and every scrapper I spoke with said that all cruzes(apart from the diesel model) were prone to overheating so only offered me $250 for the vehicle despite a relatively new transmission. As a result I would never recommend a holden of any type to anyone ever.
What do you like/dislike about the car?
Modern features, cruise control. Comfortable, insulated. It wasn't too big, but not too small either. Working air conditioning system electric windows
Any other comments on the car?
Never buy a holden

Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?
They are garbage with known faults. No one should ever purchase a holden unless it is discounted by 90 percent or more
