What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?

I needed a car that got great mileage, was safe, has loads of tech, and just enough power to not have to keep the foot to the floor to go anywhere. This car definitely has that. I Love the adaptive cruise control and the heated seats are a nice bonus on those cold mornings. I get well over 700Kms of Range on a full tank even when I'm driving a bit more lead-footed. The car has a quality feel inside with loads of premium materials.

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

My initial thoughts were how the front grille looked stolen from an Aston Martin. The car is pretty stylish, even 11 years on. The way the car felt to drive was a big appeal to me, it feels like a solid piece of kit that will go and go forever.

What have you discovered since owning the car?

I've discovered that owning a sunshine roof can have its issues in the wetter seasons, especially after some hard rain. You'll have to clear out the gutters now and then - more so if you park under a tree every day. I wish the throttle response was a bit quicker, it feels like the car has to make sure this is what you want to do before going full-throttle. I have also discovered the cost of RUC's and the diesel registration costs, which was probably why I got such a good deal on the car...

What do you like/dislike about the car?

I love the premium build quality, nothing feels plasticky or cheap, the sound system from Sony really bumps with powerful base and high quality audio, The car gets great range on a full tank and the overall drivers feel is really nice. It is a wonderful car to drive. I dislike the throttle response and I feel like the car could've come with a double din display considering its their 'titanium' model but the car might've just been made slightly before that time. The suspension is soft and smooth which is nice but can feel a little dodgy going around corners at high speed.

Any other comments on the car?

If I were to buy one again, I would get it in black. The silver looks good but after seeing a black one on the roads I am a little jealous.

Lastly, would you buy this vehicle again?

Yes

Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?

If I need a car that's gonna go forever and always be there, I'll be buying a Mondeo. It's a great car to own and knowing what else I could've had for the price, I feel quite well off.
