Practical, sporty and different were all my needs. Car fulfils all this, looks cool and goes like snot when asked. Plus not many around so has that different factor I like.
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
Initially its looks. I saw one and went what is that? That’s why I test drove one. Then how it drives. Very quick and feels like a quality driving experience. I was impressed.
What have you discovered since owning the car?
No real changes. Everyday I get in this car I think it’s a great experience. The only negative is it takes a while to get familiar with the infotainment system and radio has no AM band to listen to SENZ. That can be sorted by apple iplay so no problem!
What do you like/dislike about the car?
Infotainment takes a while to get used to. I don’t like the heater and volume swipe controls as basically they are invisible in the dark. The front parking sensor got a stone chip meaning it sends a warning signal to clean periodically. Still works but quoted over $700 to fix from the dealer. Seems a bit steep! Phone charger a waste of time if your phone has a cover.
Still like the looks. Like the performance. Like the interior leather and all round quality finish. Not economic on gas but don’t buy if you are overly worried about that. It’s not too bad either given how much performance it has.
Any other comments on the car?
Great car. I recommend it as comparing it to VW or Audi equivalents you get the same if not better performance but save a packet of $.

Performance and value compared with similar Euros. Get over the brand snobbery and this is definitely for you. The driving experience makes me smile everyday, that’s what Cupra mode does for me.
