Toyota's best marketing work has always been based around the Toyota Hilux.
What that says about the company, I'm not sure. Perhaps it's indicative of a clear understanding of the pick-up demographic. Whatever the case, it's all contributed to the Hilux being one of the most loved platforms in the world.
And the latest wave of little online clips issued by the marque are just too gosh darn adorable.
They each depict a group of wee little diminutive Hiluxes trying to emulate their full-scale kin through mud, water, and slalom.
They even wrangle a whole school of the little guys and get them to tow their big-boned brethren.
And then the little GT86 gets towed along for the ride — though the RC Hilux looks like it fails the moose test late in the clip.
Some of today's car advertising is absolutely dreadful, like this deeply pointless ad about the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T featuring Kimi Raikkonen. It's good to see marques like Toyota continue to reinvent the spin wheel over and over again.
