Aston Martin Vantage S debuts with 500kW and sharper dynamics.

  • Aston Martin Vantage S packs 500kW/800Nm from its upgraded 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
  • Acceleration improves to 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 325km/h unchanged.
  • Revised chassis, aero package and interior upgrades mark the Vantage S as the range’s most driver-focused variant.

Aston Martin has lifted the lid on its most performance-focused Vantage yet: the Vantage S, debuting this weekend at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

With power bumped to a ferocious 500kW and torque climbing to 800Nm, the Vantage S is a full-blown precision weapon aimed at purists.

Muscle meets manners

Powered by an enhanced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, the Vantage S hits 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and storms to 200km/h in 10.1 seconds.

Top speed remains unchanged at 325km/h, but it’s not the straight-line stats that define this machine - it’s how it dances through corners.

Chassis tweaks include stiffer suspension hardware, a retuned Bilstein DTX adaptive damping system, and a rear subframe now mounted directly to the body for a sharper steering feel. A 10% reduction in transmission mount stiffness also improves compliance, giving the S a more forgiving ride than its raw stats suggest.

‘S’ is for serious?

Subtlety isn’t the name of the game here. A redesigned front bonnet blade, full-width decklid spoiler, and signature red-infilled ‘S’ badging let onlookers know this isn’t your average Vantage.

That rear wing alone adds 44kg of downforce at maximum velocity, contributing to a total of 111kg, balanced with aerodynamic tweaks underneath for true high-speed grip.

Inside, the performance ethos continues. A new Alcantara and leather ‘Accelerate’ interior comes standard, complemented by twill carbon fibre trim and red or silver anodised rotary drive mode controls.

An available Inspire Sport package ups the luxury quotient, offering semi-aniline leather, perforated finishes, and chevron quilting that evokes motion even at a standstill.

Fast lineage, faster future

This marks the next chapter in Aston’s storied ‘S’ series, a tradition tracing back to the 1953 DB3S. Following the DBX S, the Vantage S reinforces the brand’s commitment to blending handmade luxury with real-deal performance.

“For many decades the illustrious Vantage nameplate has stood for the very best in performance, excitement and driving thrills,” said Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark. “The result is a new benchmark in the front-engined ultra-luxury sports car sector.”

Offered in both Coupe and Roadster form, the Vantage S is available to order now, with first deliveries expected in Q4 2025.
