The Korean car maker has teased the Ssangyong XLV-Air concept that will debut at the 2015 Frankfurt motor show later this month.
Just as a the XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure previewed the new Tivoli crossover, which was unveiled at the beginning of 2015, the XLV-Air provides a glimpse at a stretched version of the Tivoli that will be "launched early next year".
The XLV-Air has some over-the-top styling details that you'd expect in a concept car, such as the sportier front and rear bumper with red highlights and its off-roader-style side sills.
Other than that, the XLV-Air concept features longer rear doors and a stretched rear overhang, which not only houses an extra set of side windows, but will possibly have space for another row of seats.
Ssangyong says that the lengthened crossover will be powered by the same set of drivetrains as the regular Tivoli.
At present there's a 93kW/157Nm 1.6-litre petrol motor, while a 1.6-litre turbo-diesel will join the European range later this year.
