Mercedes-Benz is charging into IAA Mobility 2025 with the global debut of its all-new electric GLC: a next-generation SUV set to lead the brand’s biggest product rollout yet.
The sleek new model, packed with EQ technology, will headline the marque’s “Open Space” showcase in Munich from September 9 to 14.
A new GLC, recharged for the electric age
Poised to carry forward the legacy of Mercedes’ top-selling SUV, the electric GLC aims to blend the familiar with the future. Mercedes-Benz describes it as “purposeful, refined and unmistakably a GLC”, but now fully electric and part of a broader design evolution. It’s the first of a new series set to define the next chapter for the three-pointed star.
Also scheduled for IAA premieres: the all-new CLA lineup, including an all-electric CLA Shooting Brake and a camouflaged preview of the VLE, a "Grand Limousine" electric people mover aimed at 2026 production.
Performance fans won’t be left out either, with the Concept AMG GT XX offering a first look at what’s coming from the high-powered AMG.EA platform.
Sneak peek at high-voltage tech

At the Apothekenhof and Hall B3, visitors will get early access to the brand’s latest innovations, including MB.Drive Assist Pro and a next-gen Intelligent Cockpit.
For those keen on seeing autonomy in action, demo co-drives will highlight automated driving capabilities in a specially prepared CLA, while the EQS and S-Class will be available to test Drive Pilot, which supports hands-free driving up to 95km/h.
From compact EVs to chauffeur-ready limos, Mercedes-Benz promises a full spectrum of electrified vehicles available for passenger rides during the show.
Can’t make it to Munich? There’s a livestream for that

For those not attending in person, Mercedes-Benz will livestream the GLC’s world premiere on September 7 via its media platforms.
Trade visitors at Messe Munchen will also be treated to a deeper look at the GLC, CLA Shooting Brake and AMG GT XX concept during the brand’s tech forum.
