The all-electric compact SUV offerings from Mercedes-Benz, the EQA and EQB, are set to entice a wider range of customers with the introduction of the new EQA 250+ and EQB 250+ variants.

These additions boast a notable increase in driving range, refreshed styling and more standard equipment that further add to the model facelifts first introduced in 2023.

The EQA 250+ and EQB 250+ significantly enhance their electric driving capabilities. The EQA 250+ now offers an indicative range of 578km (NEDC), a substantial 54km increase over its predecessor.

Similarly, the EQB 250+ extends its range to 564km, marking a 57km improvement. These enhancements make these models even more appealing to young families, couples, and downsizers seeking practical and eco-conscious transportation options.

Refreshed styling and new equipment

The EQA 250+ and EQB 250+ sport a fresh look with a redesigned front grille featuring a constellation of Mercedes-Benz stars and distinctive new tail-light graphics.

The interior also receives an upgrade with the latest-generation Mercedes-Benz multifunction sports steering wheel in Nappa leather and a new Mercedes-Benz backlit pattern trim.

More than that, the standard equipment list for these models has been significantly enhanced, now including AMG Line exterior styling, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, an advanced sound system, a panoramic sunroof and standard metallic paint.

The EQB 250+ further distinguishes itself with standard third-row seating, accommodating up to seven passengers, adding to its family-friendly appeal.

Both the EQA 250+ and EQB 250+ are powered by an electric motor delivering 140kW/385 Nm of torque, coupled with a 70.5kWh battery pack. They also feature adjustable damping suspension for a comfortable and controlled ride.

These new variants retain the comprehensive standard equipment list of their predecessors, including three-zone automatic climate control, sports-style front seats, the advanced MBUX multimedia system, ambient lighting, smartphone integration, wireless charging and a host of other convenience features.

Safety remains a top priority with an array of integral safety systems, including nine airbags, the Pre-Safe accident anticipation system and Distronic active distance assist cruise control.

Other notable features include active lane keeping assist, blind spot assist, traffic sign assist, active braking assist, exit warning function, tyre pressure monitoring, an auto-dipping rear-view mirror and the Mercedes-Benz emergency call system.
