Lanzante's three-seat 95-59 already has an unusual proposition: a McLaren-based supercar with an entirely new carbon body. Now newly published renders show how much more dramatic it could become with the optional High Downforce Kit.
The red car wears a substantial aero makeover, culminating in a tall fixed rear wing. It gives prospective buyers a closer look at the package planned for the 95-59's limited production run of 59 cars.
Lanzante has spent decades racing and upgrading McLarens. Its own 95-59 combines a three-seat layout with new bodywork, and the optional aero package gives it a much more aggressive shape.
More than a rear wing
The changes begin at the nose, with a carbon splitter, enlarged air intakes and a reshaped bonnet. New door skins and side skirts continue the makeover down the flanks, while tall fins sit ahead of the rear wheels.
An engine air scoop rises above the cabin. At the back, the wing's uprights and fins join a pronounced diffuser, making the rear view considerably busier than the standard car's. Centre-lock wheels complete the rendered specification.

Former McLaren designer Paul Howse is behind the 95-59's design. Under that carbon body, Lanzante uses a modified McLaren 750S carbon monocoque to accommodate the three-seat layout.
Lanzante has not disclosed a downforce figure for the package.
Same engine, extra hardware
The aero additions leave the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 unchanged, with 880Nm of torque. The kit concentrates on bodywork and aerodynamics.
The standard 95-59 costs £1.02 million (about NZ$2.4 million) before taxes. Pricing for the optional High Downforce Kit has not been disclosed.
