Sensing another Tremor? That'll be Ford New Zealand's latest tricked-up 4x4 on the way.

Following on from last year's Ranger Tremor, Ford NZ has announced an Everest Tremor, arriving June in "limited numbers", at $87,990 - fitting just underneath the Platinum model ($91,490).
The formula is very similar to the Ranger: lots of extra off-road ability thanks to Bilstein Position-Sensitive Dampers, new springs, and General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain Tyres, providing 26mm of additional ground clearance. It retains a 3.5-tonne tow capacity.
One area where the Everest stands out from its Ranger equivalent is powertrain. While Ranger Tremor comes only with the 2.0-litre biturbo-diesel engine, the Everest gets the 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel with 184kW/600Nm.

The Tremor also features Rock Crawl Drive Mode, which is unique within the Everest range and optimises traction and momentum on loose and rocky surfaces.
The Everest Tremor is identified by a honeycomb grille design with auxiliary LED lamps, steel bash plate, heavy-duty side steps, and Tremor badging.
It will be available in an exclusive Command Grey exterior colour, along with Meteor Grey, Arctic White and Absolute Black.
Ford says it has a "premium interior" with Tremor-embossed leather accented seats, ebony-coloured interior accents, and all-weather floor mats.
