Bespoke body meets familiar performance

  • Ferrari created the CZ26 as a one-off Special Projects commission for an undisclosed client.
  • The SF90 Stradale-based car retains 735kW and 328km/h maximum.
  • Argento Veloce paint and Rosso Lampante details complement fully reworked bodywork.

Ferrari has revealed the CZ26, a one-off creation that gives the formidable SF90 Stradale an entirely new identity.

Commissioned by an undisclosed client in the United States through Ferrari's Special Projects programme, the CZ26 was presented in Monterey on 13 August 2026.

While its foundations remain familiar, Ferrari says the car's body has been fully reworked, along with its aerodynamic treatment and interior.

The result is not simply an SF90 wearing a fresh paint scheme. Its exterior is finished in Argento Veloce, with Rosso Lampante details providing the visual contrast, while the cabin receives its own bespoke treatment. Ferrari has not identified the client or disclosed what the commission cost.

The mechanical headline remains tied to the SF90 Stradale.

Ferrari says the CZ26 retains a combined output of 735kW, allowing it to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 328km/h.

Those numbers place the emphasis on a new visual and aerodynamic interpretation rather than a claimed increase in performance.

The CZ26's appeal lies in pairing the established speed of its donor car with bodywork and a cabin created for a single customer.

Mystery buyer, mystery bill

Ferrari's reveal leaves two details firmly under wraps: who ordered the car and how much they paid for it. No price has been announced, and the company has not disclosed any connection between the CZ26 and New Zealand.

That makes the Monterey unveiling the clearest public look at a car destined to remain singular. Its performance figures may be shared with the SF90 Stradale, but the reworked body, aerodynamic treatment, colour combination and bespoke interior ensure the CZ26 stands apart as its own Special Projects commission.
