- Electric Moke Mk2 pairs a 23.5kWh battery with a 170km WLTP combined driving range.
- 86-litre lockable front compartment adds storage, while the charging port moves to the rear.
- 6.6kW AC charger can replenish the battery from 20–80% in two hours at 25°C.
Packing for the beach should be easier in the new Moke Mk2. The latest version of the open-top electric runabout has an 86-litre lockable front compartment, alongside a bigger battery and a collection of cabin changes aimed at making the trip more convenient.

Moke International unveiled the Mk2 at the Paris Motor Show, which runs from 12–18 October. It follows the Electric Moke introduced in 2022, updating the formula rather than marking the brand's first move to electric power.
The familiar doorless body remains. So does the emphasis on short, leisurely journeys: the Mk2's official top speed is 80km/h.
A bigger battery for the coastal circuit
A 23.5kWh lithium iron phosphate battery supplies a 33kW motor. Moke quotes a WLTP combined range of 170km, while saying the revised vehicle layout improves weight distribution and handling.
Charging is through a 6.6kW single-phase AC system. The company specifies a 20–80% charge in two hours at 25°C, or approximately seven hours for a full charge using a 3.2kW domestic supply. The charging port has moved to the rear.

Those figures suit a car intended to spend its days between coastal roads, holiday accommodation and the nearest swimming spot. Its modest top speed also sets a clear limit on the sort of journey it is built to tackle.
Small changes where they count
Inside, wider footwells and a rotary drive selector accompany improved warning-light visibility. USB-C charging, a 12V outlet and rear cupholders add everyday convenience without changing the Moke's simple cabin layout.

There are nine exterior colours. The California Collection brings Sonoma Red, Laguna Blue and Venice White to Europe, joining six existing shades ranging from Sunlight Yellow to Eucalyptus Green.
The Mk2 is handcrafted in Warwickshire, England. Pricing starts at €35,000, excluding local taxes and incentives, or approximately NZ$70,000 at the 15 October exchange rate. New Zealand availability has not been announced.
