- Denza confirmed Coupe, Spider and Racing versions at the Z's Goodwood Festival of Speed debut.
- Its triple-motor e3 platform produces 1180kW and 1240Nm across the newly detailed range.
- The Z's 76kWh LFP Blade battery delivers up to 410km WLTP range in Coupe form.
Denza has moved its Z from a promising electric performance-car idea to a much more detailed public proposition, revealing the car at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The premium BYD brand used the event to confirm three Z variants: Coupe, Spider and Racing. Stella Li unveiled the car alongside former Formula One driver Jenson Button, while a Special Edition is being prepared for Nürburgring Nordschleife record attempts.

At the heart of each is Denza's triple-motor e3 platform, which produces 1180kW and 1240Nm. It puts the Z among the increasingly crowded electric-performance field, with distinctly different roles for the three versions.
Denza says the Coupe can cover 0-100km/h in 2.25 seconds. The Racing version, fitted with its optional semi-slick tyre package, trims that to 1.96 seconds. The brand has also flagged a more extreme Special Edition capable of less than 1.7 seconds, although its full technical specification is still to come.

The Z uses a 76kWh LFP Blade battery, with WLTP range of 410km for the Coupe, 400km for the Spider and 380km for the Racing. Its Flash Charging system is designed to take the battery from 10 to 70% in five minutes, or from 10 to 97% in nine minutes.
Those figures underline what Denza is trying to achieve: not simply a rapid electric showpiece, but a high-performance car with a clear range of road-focused personalities.

The Coupe offers the longest range, while the Spider and Racing give buyers two distinct takes on the same electric hardware.
New Zealand timing, pricing and local specifications have not been disclosed.
