Collecting Cars, a prominent online auction platform for classic, performance and collectible vehicles, is bringing its popular Coffee Run events to New Zealand this month.
Car enthusiasts in Christchurch and Auckland can look forward to gatherings showcasing luxury and sports cars, slated for Christchurch on November 23 at Addington Raceway and Auckland on November 24 at Auckland Showgrounds. These events offer a free, family-friendly environment where automotive fans can enjoy an array of cherished vehicles up close.
Edward Lovett, the founder of Collecting Cars, expressed excitement about the New Zealand events, stating, “Car enthusiasts in Auckland and Christchurch are in for a treat.” Lovett himself will attend, marking Collecting Cars’ one-year milestone in the country.
The Coffee Runs aim to foster community spirit among car collectors and fans, building on a successful series of over 60 events hosted annually worldwide.
Collecting Cars launched in 2019 and has grown into one of the fastest-growing platforms for collectible car auctions, amassing over 260,000 registered members and generating more than NZ$1.6 billion in sales.
This year, it hosted a Worldwide Coffee Run program, attracting over 10,000 car fans across multiple continents. With a focus on secure, hassle-free online transactions, the platform enables sellers to retain 100% of the hammer price and simplifies the auction process for buyers and sellers alike.
