Bentley has revealed the latest Flying Spur, giving its flagship sedan a cleaner new face, hybrid V8 power and the return of a properly potent S model.
The new Flying Spur can be specified now, with first deliveries in most markets due in the fourth quarter of 2026. Production is scheduled to begin at Bentley’s Crewe factory in September.
One headlamp, many horses

The headline design change is hard to miss.
Bentley has returned to single front headlamps on a sedan for the first time since 1962, bringing the Flying Spur closer in look to the latest Continental GT family.

The radiator grille is now integrated into the front bumper, while the old wing vent detail has been replaced by a smoother front wing with badging placed behind the front wheel. At the rear, Bentley has reshaped the boot lid, added new rear lamps and fitted a body-coloured number plate surround.
New 22-inch wheel finishes are also available on Azure and S models, while Dark Teal joins the paint palette as a new metallic blue-green finish.
S returns with more bite

The Flying Spur S is back, and Bentley is not being shy about it.
The latest version uses a High Performance Hybrid powertrain producing 500kW and 930Nm, nearly 20 per cent more power than the previous Flying Spur S.

Bentley claims 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds and a 307km/h top speed, which is brisk work for a luxury sedan with this much leather and social gravity.
The S also gets Bentley’s Performance Active Chassis, including active all-wheel drive, twin-valve dampers, torque vectoring, a 48-volt active anti-roll system and new ESC software. For the first time on a Flying Spur S, the setup also includes an electronic limited-slip differential.
More cabin craft, more audio theatre

Inside, Bentley now offers five seat styles, each requiring 12 hours of handcraftsmanship.
Buyers can choose fluted or advanced quilted inserts, depending on whether they prefer lounge, driver’s car or somewhere expensive in between.

The Mulliner Virtuoso Collection is also now available for the Flying Spur, bringing the Naim for Mulliner audio system, unique embroidery and Champagne Gold detailing. The system uses 21 speakers and tech derived from Focal’s Grand Utopia speakers.
DRIVEN Car Guide understands Bentley has not disclosed pricing yet. But with sharper styling, a 500kW S model and a hi-fi system with coachbuilt origins, the new Flying Spur looks set to keep Bentley’s sedan properly relevant.
