A bespoke black finish marks the commission

  • Owner-commissioned Perla Nera is a one-off 33 Stradale, finished in matte exposed carbon.
  • Black three-spoke wheels and bespoke Alcantara seats give the cabin and exterior a unified look.
  • The car is displayed at Alfa Romeo’s museum until 18 October, before it is delivered to its owner.

Alfa Romeo has unveiled a one-off 33 Stradale called Perla Nera, distinguished by a matte exposed-carbon finish and a series of details chosen by its owner.

The car is on show at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Italy, until 18 October. It will then be delivered to its owner, whose identity has not been disclosed.

The body’s carbon-fibre finish is hand-laid, with the material’s pattern arranged to follow the shape of the car’s panels.

The dark treatment continues through the wheels: the Perla Nera wears black three-spoke alloys, a design Alfa Romeo says draws on the brand’s history.

Inside, the owner specified bespoke Alcantara seats and matching headrests. The rotary selector has also been personalised, while the car comes with luggage made to match its cabin. A “03/33” marking identifies its place among the limited 33 Stradale series.

The Perla Nera retains the model’s mid-mounted 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive. The focus of this commission is its appearance and cabin rather than a separate mechanical package.

The commission follows the 33 Stradale’s low-volume return as a modern interpretation of the historic nameplate. This car’s defining change is its owner-specific finish and equipment, rather than a separate model or mechanical package.

Alfa Romeo has not announced a price or any New Zealand availability for this individual example. The owner remains unnamed, but the museum display gives visitors a chance to see the finished car before it enters a private collection.
