Cadillac has introduced the 2026 Vistiq, an all-electric, three-row SUV that fills a key spot in its growing electric vehicle (EV) lineup, complementing the Lyriq SUV already available in New Zealand.
Positioned between the midsize Lyriq and the larger Escalade IQ, the Vistiq provides an option for families prioritising both seating capacity and sustainability in a luxury SUV.
Refined design
The Vistiq showcases Cadillac’s electric design language, with a sleek, closed-off grille and distinct vertical lighting. Its longer, sloping roofline accommodates a spacious third row and cargo area while maintaining the streamlined profile that defines Cadillac’s EV models.
The dimensions place it close to the Lyriq, making it manageable for city and suburban use while offering ample interior space.
Dual-motor powertrain
Powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup, the Vistiq delivers an estimated 459kW and 650Nm of torque. This configuration allows for swift acceleration, with a 0 to 100km/h time of around 3.7 seconds - a competitive figure for a family-focused SUV.
The Vistiq features a 102kWh battery, expected to offer an approximate range of 480km on a full charge. For added convenience, it supports DC fast charging, allowing up to 127km of range in just 10 minutes.
Tech-driven interior

The Vistiq’s interior design includes a tech-forward approach, highlighted by a 33-inch curved 9K display that integrates the driver’s instrument cluster and central infotainment.
This system runs on an Android-based operating system featuring built-in Google services, though it lacks Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, diverging from some market expectations.
Seating is arranged across three rows, offering ample space for up to seven passengers. Cadillac has prioritised both comfort and durability in material selection, aiming to balance its luxury appeal with the demands of family use. The second and third rows are designed to accommodate family needs, with flexible space options for either passenger seating or expanded cargo.
Safety features on the Vistiq include Cadillac’s Super Cruise, a hands-free driving system suitable for supported highways in North America.
Additional safety technologies include automatic emergency braking, emergency evasive steering assist, blind-spot monitoring and side cross-traffic alert. An optional infrared night vision system further enhances safety for drivers navigating low-visibility conditions.
Pricing and production plans
The starting price for the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq is approximately NZ$130,000, based on a USD price of $78,790 including destination charges.
Production is set to begin in early 2025 at GM's Spring Hill, Tennessee plant, with availability expected for markets including New Zealand and other RHD regions, although a local release has yet to be confirmed.
