Images of the all-new 2017 Land Rover Discovery has appeared on the company’s Australian website hours before its international debut.
A single still image of the new fifth-generation Land Rover Discovery appears on the landrover.com.au site, showing the car without camouflage and giving the best indication yet as to what to expect of the new model’s design.
We had seen plenty of spy images of the new Discovery before now, but to this point nothing has been so revealing as the homepage image seen above.
Furthermore, a short video of the new model gives a few glimpses of the rear of the big new seven-seat SUV, with there being some clear styling differentiators between the previous generation model and the new one.
There are plenty more images and details to come of the new-generation Discovery SUV, which is expected to be pitched as a more family-friendly model to compete more directly with the likes of the Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90.
As the images above suggest, though, it is also likely to remain a highly capable and competent off-roader.
