Did you buy this car new or used?

Used

If used, what year did you buy it used?

2023

How much did you pay? (including all on-road costs)

15000

What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?

I wanted to have a big car with loads of space and comfort for long distance travel with friends and family. With used SUVs (especially RAV4 and Highlander) been priced over my budget, I ended up buying a full size luxury van.

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

The road presence and practical space in the car appealed to me as well as features such as 3 zone climate control, captain chairs and extra comfortable seating in the third row. More importantly its the performance for a big van. My Vellfire is by a 3.5L V6 which produces 280hp with a 0-100 time of little over 8 seconds.

What have you discovered since owning the car?

It has a massive road presence and gives decent fuel economy for a big car. Its easy to carry things like ladders, massive suitcases and even curtain rods when you move house.

What do you like/dislike about the car?

I love the comfort it offers with loads of power available from as low as 1500rpm. It's a pleasure to drive though I would prefer it to have a more firmer braking feel as despite having discs at front and rear, the pedal feel can be vastly improved.

Any other comments on the car?

People will not tailgate you, assuming there's a mafia boss in the car. PS: This car is a popular choice in Japan amongst mafia bosses after the Toyota Century.

Lastly, would you buy this vehicle again?

Yes

Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?

I will buy it again as it offers a lot of car for the money. Despite being as spacious as an SUV, the price doesn't hurt as much.
