What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?

I specifically wanted an early model 3 Tesla as it would do town mileage easily, and be both cheaper and faster than the new versions. I also preferred the chrome windows. I wanted a car that would accelerate fast and be cheap to run due to having solar.

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

Initial thoughts were that the blue colour was striking, the inside layout was minimal and uncluttered, and I could watch Netflix while waiting for it to charge! The screen software was smooth and easy to use, and came with a few of the non essential but fun additions such as rainbow road and mars maps! I also like the full sun roof. I was unsure if the sedan would fit my foiling gear, but with the seats down it did easily.

What have you discovered since owning the car?

On the plus side- it really is fast (5.6 secs 0-100), handles well (flat round the corners) and the screen works as well as hoped. It updates automatically via wifi when stored at home, and overnight charging via the supplied snail charger works better than expected. I like the push me pull you door handles more than I thought I would, as the stop you from damaging the paint and are easy to use.

What do you like/dislike about the car?

On the negative side, there are a few vibration noises when in rough roads, road noise in general is louder than I thought, and the finish in a couple of areas does not befit a luxury brand. The view through the rear view is limited, but the cameras help with this.

Any other comments on the car?

I enjoy driving the car very much, as long as it is not along rough roads, where the stiff suspension and interior finish make it feel noisy and bumpy. However, overall, it is exciting to drive, costs peanuts to run and is fun to sit in whilst charging.

Lastly, would you buy this vehicle again?

Yes

Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?

I will be looking to upgrade at some point, and would love to go for a four wheel drive version- However the cost is the biggest limiting factor.
