Needed a vehicle upon retirement to replace my Company vehicle. It has fulfilled all my needs and been exceptionally reliable
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
It was compact, fuel efficient and popular. Itʼs outward shape and appearance, styling was appealing similar to that of the mini minors.
What have you discovered since owning the car?
Even though it is now 19 years old it has only cost me Servicing, tyres, battery and an alternator over this time.
What do you like/dislike about the car?
I like its reliability, fuel efficiency, compactness and the fact that everything original still is working the only exception the alternator which had to be replaced.
Dislike. The seats can become uncomfortable on long day trips which I rarely make nowadays.
Any other comments on the car?
Have thought of getting a new Swift but because this one has been so reliable I will keep it for the near future.
