What were your needs when you bought this car? Has it fulfilled those needs?

Construction and land surveying. I need to go over any terrain to get to job sites, sometimes off-road. Mechanics tell me only two types of vehicle will do what I need, either my Nissan Safari or a Toyota Landcruiser. The Safari gets me anywhere I need to go

What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.

It was recommended to me by Macau Motors. I was looking for another Nissan Terrano and the guy at Macau Motors said "why would you not get a Safari?" and I immediately felt he was right.

What have you discovered since owning the car?

I like having the automatic transmission for very slow crawling over rough or tricky ground. I have two sets of chains for the toughest sites. On the road it has excellent handling and will get from A to B as fast as a car.

What do you like/dislike about the car?

I love the Safari and appreciate everything about it.

Any other comments about the car?

Factory turbo and the high roof would have been good, but that is not a complaint. I call it Kuraizuderu (Japanese for Clydesdale).
