I'm a Mazda MX5 Club member who had already had an MX5 car, but I wanted to get a newer one. The new ND model looks great and has a lot more "creature comforts" than the old 2004 NB model I had. Has the new car fulfilled my needs - most certainly! A joy to drive and has all the mod-cons and comfort.
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
Just a very nice all-round package, for such an affordable open-top sports car! Performs really well, but is comfortable too.
What have you discovered since owning the car?
I've had to learn patience! As most (if not all) other vehicles on the road will be slowing down too much for the corners!
What do you like/dislike about the car?
Gorgeous to look at. Great performance - a joy to drive. And, fairly economical too (I'm averaging around 6.3 to 6.5 L/100km - depending on how much around town driving).
Any other comments on the car?
Being able to be an MX5 Club member is a bonus too! Good monthly outings with nice, similarly minded people!

Very happy with the car. Newer models will have even more improvements, which make buying new replacements even more appealing.
