I needed a bigger car to fit at least people 7 people with luggage space. This was the car with luxurious fittings and grunt to do the job. Fell in love driving off the yard!!
The power of a V6 for an SUV ... amazing! The comfort ride ... as expected. The post interior .... value for money. The space for passengers and luggage ... not other similarly priced SUV could come near this. Does the same job as Audi Q7 at a fraction of the price!
Over time, the brake booster died so had to get this fixed. Both the front windows motor died but the fix which I did myself cost me $14 - just replaced the gears in the motors! Brake pads still hasn't been changed at 130k km. This just shows quality products used by Mazda! Every single gizmo in the car still works!! The gear box rotor (clutch) had started slipping so got this refurbished ... not cheap but cheaper than putting in a new one. Also was told the AWD chain is wearing out so the car will become a 2WD once the teeth on the chain has worn out. Not too fussed as the car doesn't go off-roading or on bad roads!!
I like the power of the car, the comfort, the interior and the space What I don't like is the petrol price going up and as the car is ageing, i know there will be more things to fix .... but I will keep the car
Love my CX9. I would have upgraded to the new CX9 if they had kept it a V6 and the same size. The newer ones look good but not the same car anymore!!
