I bought the ute for increased tow capacity, having previously owned a Toyota Prado. I couldn't afford a 4WD or a ute with 3.5t tow capacity. I bought an automatic as have spinal damage and can't drive a manual anymore :( I love so much about this ute. Many people won't tow with utes as they say they're too light in the back end, not this one. She turns on a dime, even with a heavy horse trailer on. I feel safe when towing, knowing I have the capacity to brake safely, or accelerate to safety.
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
I needed something with tow capacity over 3t. I test drove quite a few utes, but liked driving the Mazda the most.
What have you discovered since owning the car?
She has an AMAZING sound system - but only in the front. Sucks to be backseat passengers, haha. Very vocal with lights flashing if anything goes wrong. Thank god she came with a manual.
What do you like/dislike about the car?
I need a sugar daddy to take responsibility for my fuel bill. She's super thirsty when towing, but is there such a thing as economical and safe when towing...?

Totally rate her for towing. Comfortable on long roadies too.

Yes
Why would/wouldn't you buy it again?
Definitely would buy again as does all that I need. Love the look of some European vehicles but don't have the $$ for that.
