I wanted a front engined V8 rear wheel drive sports car with character. The F Type fulfils this in all respects. I owned a V6 model before which was a better all round drivers car, better balanced, the V8 makes the best sound!
What were your initial thoughts about the car? Tell us why it appealed to you.
A true successor to the E Type and the design is aging well (it's 10 years old now). My first sighting was in the UK and it stopped me dead in my tracks. It still makes me look back when walking away
What have you discovered since owning the car?
That other people really warm to the car. Everyday it gets compliments and Fathers will ask if their Son can stand next to it and be photographed. 'Awesome car mate' 'I want one' are commonly heard.
What do you like/dislike about the car?
Love the car overall. The look, feel, quality, rarity, style and performance. Any changes? Yes, there is no storage in the cabin, not even to put the keys. A small price to pay though, I still grin from ear to ear when firing her up.
Any other comments on the car?
A real eye turner with smiles, you would never get that with a Ferrari, BMW or Porsche!

This is the last of the breed, I've only had her for 18 months, no idea what I'd buy next.
